News New Orleans Jazz Fest Lineup Features Rolling Stones, Neil Young And More

Sure, 2024 is only 18 days old, but we may have a winner already for festival lineup of the year. New Orleans Jazz Fest just announced their lineup today and it is astonishing. The Rolling Stones had already been announced as headliners, so this year’s Jazz Fest, to be held April 25 – 28 and May 2 – 5, was off to an iconic start.

The second weekend the Stones will be joined by Neil Young and Crazy Horse. The Stones and Young on the same weekend brings together two of the most beloved and respected classic rock acts still taking the stage in 2024. If you just had those two you already have a legendary weekend.

However, that second weekend will also feature Foo Fighters, Hozier, New Orleans hometown hero Trombone Shorty, Bonnie Raitt, Greta Van Fleet, Queen Latifah, Earth, Wind & Fire, Tower of Power, Pulitzer Prize winner Rhiannon Giddens, The Wallflowers, Terrance Blachard, Tab Benoit, Marc Broussard, reggae icons Steel Pulse. In short, it is a typical Jazz Fest weekend with something for everyone. And if you are a rock fan you will not find a better triple bill than the Stones, Young and Foo Fighters, Imagine the collaborative possibilities!

Not to be outdone, weekend one is also spectacular. Led by Chris Stapleton, The Killers, Anderson .Paak and The Nationals, another New Orleans favorite Jon Batiste, Heart, Big Freedia, The Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Stephen Marley, Bela Fleck and much more.

As usual, both weekends will feature a huge dose of hometown talent rounding out the lineups. Every year Jazz Fest seems to outdo itself, but this year is a whole other level. Tickets are on sale now.
